"Like damn, I'm from Minnesota, land of the cold air…
Prince lives here, we got 10,000 lakes

Got trees and vegetation in the city I stay
The rent's in the mail and I can always find a parking space

And we're not infested with pretentious movie stars
And it hit me, Minnesota is dope
If only simply for not what we have but what we don't"

So ive been in my homeland of Minnesota for about a month now and couldn't be all too much more content. Don't get me wrong, I love LA…but a break was well needed. I grew up in the genuinity of the Midwest so some things about LA start to get to me after awhile and I need to re-ground myself. I am excited to return to california in august though...i wish i could rearrange the states and put these 2 together...then i wouldnt have to live such a split life.

Only 2 major things I am not happy about here:

1. Summer school. In order for me to graduate from college in less than 6 years I have to take physics + calculus here over the summer AND I have to drive back and forth 2 hours everday to Minneapolis in order to do so…studying never stops for me apparently.

2. MOSQUITOS! Unless you live like right next to me (perhaps in my alfalfa or cornfield??) you cannot complain about mosquitos. I live on the frickin river and that is their breeding territory so its basically a death-zone when you walk outside. My body is more-or-less covered in itchy little red bumps…I feel like I have fleas.

Beyond all that…im pretty happy at the moment. Wow, when is the last time I said that? Sometimes it takes certain events in your life to realize what you were taking for granted or overlooking…its really the simple things + down-to-earth people in life that make it worth it =]

Tonight, tonight, tonight!!! We are adding to members to my family! Yes yes yes…the oslunds are getting 2 baby black+white kittens! I am the biggest cat lover in the world so I am extremely excited. They are just little mutt farm kitties but those are the cutest…I don't understand why people see the need to buy from breeders + pet-stores all the time when there are so many stranded animals out there.  Spay and neuter your animals if you don't want babies people…animals are horny little devils and will reproduce if you let em run free! Anywho…I want to name one of them harry and one voldermort but my mom said you cant give an innocent little kitty a scary name like that. Maybe Dumbledore or Sirius be better...

My newest obsession is reading my horoscope daily. Ive always been very much into parapsychology but never gave astrology too much attention before even though that all ties right in. Destiny, karma, life…its all relative and it fascinates me. Everything happens for a reason and im beginning to really believe in that and learn to accept all the ups+downs of life as one in the same. Even though I follow the general Christian faith, I used to attend a Buddhist temple and met with the equivalent of a priest there on various occasions and he taught me a lot which I now base my life on. Dhuka. Things happen and they just ARE so accept them for their existence and move on. No reason to dwell on mistakes or what you wish you could happen. My religious ideology is very complex and intermixed and everchanging. Im just a very open person and believe that religion is an imperfect thing and that's why we need to continuously discover what it means throughout our life. Its ignorant to learn only one religion, base your life beliefs off what other people or books say, isolate yourself in a community of people with like-thoughs, and stubbornly stick to that for your whole life…but people do it. Human though on religion and life is intriguing.

I have been sitting at this coffee shop for far too long...i better go before they arrest me for being creepy

PS: life is not worth living without ebay…it nurtures my soul.

i know what you mean, im from the smallest town ever, but going home for a while every now and again help in life, and evens everything out..the city can get a bit straining.
I too follow the christian faith, its cool that youre interested in different teachings and beliefs, i just think that faith and love are more important than "relgion" and a set of organized rules, ya know?
anyway, haha, rambling..jsut wanted to say hi, nice blooooog.
